The characters arrive at the Lord Giovanni's manse just as the last blaze of sunlight fades into the flickering embers. It is a massive manor house with an overgrown garden to the right and a graveyard to the left. The house is well fortified, with a single stout door  and very far narrow windows, all protected by inner shutters. Four lightly armed sentries stand guard on the parapets.
